Планшет на гарантии, пользовался меньше полугода.

Вот куцая официальная информация от Sony по дефектам в дисплеях планшетов, которую мне удалось отыскать:
"В различных экземплярах Изделия возможны незначительные отклонения яркости и цвета изображения на экране. Дисплей может одержать небольшие яркие или темные точки. Такое явление возникает по причине сбоя в работе отдельных пикселей и невозможности их регулировки. Допускается наличие двух дефектных пикселей."

А это - прецендент с аналогичным браком такого же планшета (Сообщество Sony):

Есть мнение специалистов, что эти пятна возникают от перегрева
А перегрев - от ущербной конструкции планшета
Пользователи не просили делать его 6.4мм
Лично я бы не отказался от толщины 8-10мм и большого аккумулятора, и надежной конструкции в целом

В целях уменьшения расходов Sony будет искать более дешевые дисплеи для своих смартфонов
